The director should be gospel-centered, team-oriented, an equipper of leaders, able to provide administrative oversight, and eager to invest in team members.
- Growing relationship as a disciple of Jesus Christ
- Strengths in areas such as faith, discernment, encouragement and shepherding
- A deep knowledge of theological truths that align with FBC Branson beliefs and core values
- Proven record of skills including leadership development, relationship building, data-driven goal setting, and process development and implementation
- Knowledge of child development from birth to preteen age
- Communication skills that result in deep relationship with a team members
- Experience working on church staff leading a team is preferred
- Attitude that views obstacles as opportunities to rely on God’s faithfulness
- Ability to maintain a calm confidence in God’s faithfulness in stressful situations
