Meadows Baptist Church (MBC) is looking for a Worship and Communication Pastor to join our team in East Plano, who will be well_noemailpensated.
Meadows has been in existence for 60+ years and is currently located on a beautiful 27-acre debt free campus where the church relocated in 2001 across the street from one of the largest high schools in America. Meadows has an annual budget of over $1,000,000 and Sunday morning in person attendance of more than 250 as well as an online engagement of thousands.
Our Worship and Communication Pastor will be responsible for crafting customized experiences of worship weekly for the congregation of MBC that inspire people to acknowledge, engage and respond to the majesty of Almighty God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
He (or she if it is a director) will work under the leadership of our Senior Pastor, Dr Scott Fenton, who is in his 33rd year leading the church. He has international missions experience having lived and served in the lands of the Bible and explored every biblical site in Israel, Jordan and Greece. Dr Scott is an author and expert guide who has an M.DIV and PH.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.

Meadows also has a premiere ministry internship partnership with Dallas Baptist University that employs freshman ministry students each semester. Qualifications:
Requirements:
· He/She must be conscientious and sensitive to embody God's desire, the needs of the congregation and the neighboring communities in crafting and contextualizing the worship experience.
· Must be a passionate worshipper, a creative crafter of worship design, and an effective builder/leader of teams to impact the corporate worship experience of the congregation vocally, instrumentally and technically.
· This position requires passion and giftedness to lead both a hymn/choir driven worship experience as well as a praise band/team driven worship experience.
· This is a pastoral position that requires not only a heart for God but a heart for people with an eagerness to grow Meadows Church to accomplish our purpose to call and empower people to follow Christ and live biblically.
Preferred experience:
· 3-5 years working on a church staff
· 3-5 years of music and/or theological experience or education
