Job Description:

The Music Minister is responsible for promoting, encouraging, and coordinating the music ministry of First English Lutheran Church, to the glory of God. This is a new position for FELC and will be charged with creating opportunities for followers of Christ to share their musical gifts. The Music Minister is responsible for promoting, encouraging, and coordinating the music ministry of First English Lutheran Church, to the glory of God. The Music Minister's primary worship service will be our contemporary service and will work with the pastor to strengthen it.  

Qualifications:

Ability to relate to others with good interpersonal skills
Bachelor's Degree in church music or music education or equivalent training and experience in the field of music.
Ability to work well with people of all ages and musical abilities.
Good organizational skills.
Proficiency as a pianist.
Knowledgeable of contemporary worship music.
