Job Description:
The Rock of PCB is looking for a part time worship leader who can sing and lead worship on Sunday mornings. This person would be responsible for picking out the songs in conjunction with the elders of the church, along with helping prepare slides on ProPresenter for the Sunday service. Pay will be negotiated based on experience and musical capabilities. We are a non-denominational church with a small congregation. We are located on the west end of Panama City Beach.
Responsibilities: Select and plan the music for Sunday.
Recruit, equip, motivate, oversee and shepherd vocalists and musicians.
Have open communication with the pastor and the elders about the music selections.
Make the slides for the song lyrics and the scriptures the pastor will be using each Sunday.
Conduct music practice once a week to be ready for the Sunday morning service.
Experience required: Ability to play and sign a wide range of Christian music including both Contemporary and
traditional hymns.
Instrument experience is a must preferably Guitar, but other instrument experience would be a plus.
Time Requirements: Approximately 10 - 12 hours per week this includes rehearsal time and one service.
Compensation: Varied based on experience. Weekly range 250 to 350 per week
