The primary responsibilities of the part-time worship leader will be to plan and execute an engaging worship service that draws people in, encourages participation, and points people to Jesus. The ideal candidate will have an engaging stage presence and be proficient vocally and in a lead instrument, as well as possess observable leadership capabilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.) Model and provide leadership, vision, and passion in the area of music worship ministries that are in line with the overall vision, purpose and mission of NCC.

2.) Be the primary vocalist and instrumentalist during all Sunday morning worship services

3.) Recruit, audition and develop an appropriate sized and competent worship team

4.) Prepare and lead rehearsals that both prepare the team for Sundays as well as cultivate Christ centered community

5.) Periodically consult with the Lead Pastor to coordinate music in relation to sermons series and special days / topics

6.) Assist in planning, implementing and leading worship for occasional special events outside of Sunday worship services

7.) Collaborate with Church office in organizing the Sunday service on planningcenter.com

It is anticipated that the duties associated with this position will be approximately 10 hours per week. Compensation will be determined by position fit and experience.
