Job Description:
Able to share your personal relation with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Oversee ministry and counseling to members from Birth to High School Graduates, including family members of individuals during that age range
Work with the Children and Youth of Providence in programs such as Youth Group, VBS, Confirmation classes, Sunday School, and Children's Ministry
Provide religious, moral, and emotional support
Meet with Pastor regularly to discuss goals (spiritual and otherwise) set for each ministry
Create opportunities for individuals or families to meet to discuss questions or concerns
Partner with Session (Pastor, Elders, etc) to create programs, discipleship, and service opportunities for children/youth students of Providence
Encourage all children/youth to grow in their faith
Support outreach opportunities to encourage spiritual growth within the community

Providence Presbyterian Church (PPC) is a part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) located in McGee's Crossroads, North Carolina. With the area rapidly growing and bringing in more individuals and families, God has blessed us with the opportunity to expand and grow our church family. With this growth, we want to ensure that the families within our congregation are able to receive the spiritual guidance and counseling needed. This is why we as a church would like to hire a Pastor to Children and Youth who would solely be dedicated to the spiritual growth and development of our congregational members from Birth to High School Graduates and their families.
Job Qualifications:
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior
Agree with the essentials of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church
Experience with scripture focused teaching material
Ability to nurture and teach a biblical worldview
Willingness to provide encouragement and opportunities for spiritual growth
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience with mentoring children/youth students is preferred
