Job Description:
The Worship and Arts Leader will provide guidance to all aspects of the music and arts ministry of the church in order to develop creative, visual, seamless and contemporary worship, with traditional elements, that brings the congregation into the presence of God.

Mature walk with God through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Musical proficiency
A shepherds heart to lead the congregation in worship
Skill in developing others gifts in a team setting, and in promoting community
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Music & Worship Responsibilities:
Lead worship and provide leadership and discipleship to the praise team, instrumentalists and vocalists
Plan, prepare and provide the songs and music in the two morning services, in special services (Thanksgiving, Good Friday, etc.) and at other worship events
Work with Pastors/Worship Team to coordinate special music and musical guests
Identify, discern and develop the musical gifts and talents of the congregation for use in worship
Recruit, audition, develop and train vocalists to sing and lead worship
Recruit, audition, and develop additional musicians/band members
Recruit, train and schedule sound technicians, ProPresenter and broadcast/lighting volunteers
Organize, lead and develop praise choirs, ensembles and other musical groups as time and talents allow
Technical and Graphics Responsibilities:
Be proficient in, or willing to gain proficiency in, ProPresenter software and Planning Center
Provide input and direction to the sound, light, video, and technical aspects of worship
As abilities allow, prepare graphics for worship
Administrative Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage the annual worship and audiovisual budgets
Oversee equipment, instruments and inventories related to worship
Staff & Church Relationships:
Meet with Pastors/Worship Team for worship planning
Collaborate with the Ministry Staff team on initiatives to carry out our mission
Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Senior Pastor and follows the organizational structure as approved by Council
