A. Purpose and Vision
Serve God and the vision of Elk Horn Baptist Church as given to the Lead Pastor
Serve as the primary Worship Leader/Pastor for Elk Horn Baptist Church
Make every effort to bring the vision of EHBC to life.
Serve side-by-side with the Pastors/ Deacon/Media Director and EHBC Leadership
Be willing to lead; go above and beyond in other environments as necessary.

B. Leading and Developing Others
Build, direct, coordinate and develop the EHBC Praise Band
Develop teams that are fully qualified to serve and lead in weekly worship services.
Oversee the worship ministry at all EHBC Events and Services
Ensure the Praise Band and background singers are equipped and prepared to worship with the Spirit of Excellence
Lead weekly rehearsals for the Praise Band and scheduled team members.
Post chord chards, MP3s, Worship Outlines, and other necessary elements for the Praise Band each week
Pastor, coach, and care for all lead volunteers. Take key leaders to other services, conferences and meetings that will help equip them for the work of the ministry.
Weddings – Coordinate sound services and clear stage if necessary.

C. Creative Planning
If possible, participate in staff, production, and creative meetings. This includes assisting in the overall programming and execution of creative elements in the worship experience (Props, songs, video element, giveaways, etc.)
Stay current with culture as it relates to worship.
Develop innovative methods to take EHBC worship to the next level.
Communicate with other Worship Pastors and watch other church services to gain insight and develop ways to improve the effectiveness of the worship experience.
Provide creative input for the Children/Youth worship ministries.
