Job Description:
Yountville Community Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Worship Leader to join our team. The YCC worship leader will work closely with our Pastor in cultivating worship services that help lead our congregation to see and savor the greatness of God in Jesus Christ. The Worship Leader is responsible for the overall leadership and development of the Worship Team. This includes planning, leading, rehearsing, collaborating with Lead Pastor, implementing Sunday Worship and other events.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and lead weekly worship services and special events
Lead the congregation in worship through song, prayer, and scripture reading
Recruiting and training musicians in the church to serve the congregation as a team with musical skill and humility
Ensure services remain engaging and spiritually inspiring
Coordinating and executing the Worship Team rehearsals
Work with church staff to ensure services are properly planned and executed
Develop and maintain relationships with the congregation
Qualifications
A love for Jesus and a calling to Worship Ministry
2+ years of experience in Worship Ministry preferred
Excellent leadership and_noemailanizational skills
Knowledge and skills in Planning Center
Excellent_noemailmunication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with musical instruments
Knowledge of different styles of music such as traditional, contemporary and gospel
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and staff
A passion for worship and spiritual growth
Benefits
$250 per Sunday (3 hours)
