The CMA Church of Morgantown is a 100+ year old congregation with much diversity reflecting the diversity within the University and Morgantown communities. The congregation consists of college students, professionals, young families, and older families from many ethnic backgrounds. The church has a history of being a "sending church", sending many individuals and families into full-time pulpit ministry and to the mission field. The church has birthed a Chinese Church and a Korean Church and routinely holds joint services with both congregations. The church hosts a college and career ministry to college students and young professionals. The church worship ministry has a relationship with the WVU School of Music, that allows college music majors to participate in the church's worship ministry, such as choir, praise band, or orchestra. This relationship provides opportunity for evangelism, discipleship, and music/worship leadership development with college students.
