Worship Pastor Job - Green Bay Community Church, Green Bay, Wisconsin

The Worship Pastor must feel called to this position as they are entrusted with fostering a vibrant worship culture, particularly in music. As the Worship Pastor, this position will lead, coach and train the Worship Team consisting of mainly volunteers. They will collaborate closely with the Arts Team and Lead Pastor to craft_noemailpelling weekend services and special events, while assembling and empowering teams of volunteers. Central to this responsibility is the promotion of a passion for worship within the team as well as the broader church_noemailmunity. The Worship Pastor is expected to possess strong leadership skills in worship and to actively mentor and cultivate emerging worship leaders.

Ministry Specific Responsibilities

· Lead Sunday worship 2 or more times per month and ensure that other worship events are led by qualified leaders.
· Use Planning Center Online to schedule worship team and band members; keep database updated and current.
· Select songs for Sunday worship, collaborating with the Arts Team. Ensure that team has resources and files needed for worship.
· Lead Thursday night worship rehearsal.
· Work in conjunction with Tech Director to lead audio, video and media team members.
· Plan and help lead worship team initiatives and events other than Sundays.
· Plan and execute auditions for new team members.
· Identify and train new worship leaders to grow team.
· Collaborate with other ministries to develop and grow worship culture throughout the church.
· Participate in required meetings and events, such as programming meetings, staff meetings, training, discipleship, etc.
