Kodiak Community Baptist Church, Alaska is seeking a Pastor. We are affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A. We are a people who love the Lord, love to worship, love the Bible, and love to serve. We have a rich history of local and international missions support. We are active in our community, and the love we share creates a strong sense of family with one another.
We are looking for a pastor who is caring, engaged, preaches the Bible and who will be active in the community. A Pastor who will disciple a multigenerational and racially diverse congregation. Someone with a clear call to be a Pastor who has training to be a minister (preferably an MDiv from an accredited seminary) and several years experience (preferably as a Lead Pastor or equivalent).
This position is full-time and includes a parsonage that is fully furnished (if needed) and equipped. The church covers all utility costs for the parsonage. Salary has some flexibility depending on education and experience.

About Community Baptist Church:
We are an American Baptist Church but we function like many community churches: our desire is to follow Christ and to love our neighbors on Kodiak Island and around the world. As we've come through the pandemic, our numbers are smaller, but there is wonderful potential to draw others into fellowship with us. Our church initiated and hosts a large Trail Life program. We have a number of young Coast Guard families who attend. (Kodiak has the largest Coast Guard base in the country.) Our body is comprised of community leaders, educators, commercial fishermen, doctors, health workers---the gamut. Making us diverse, but deeply connected by our love for Jesus and our love of Kodiak.
