Bi-vocational position for a small bible-based church, in a wonderful East Texas_noemailmunity. Solid Biblical knowledge required, ideally with seminary training or other advanced Biblical study.
We're looking for someone who demonstrates maturity in Chrisitan character in all aspects of his personal and family life.
Duties shall include but are not limited to:
1. Preparation of Sunday sermons and services for the edification and training of the church members
2. Plan and lead children's ministry on Wednesday evenings Kids for Christ.
3. Visiting the membership in times of sickness and need.
4. Provide the Church Board with a report or summary of activities since the preceding Board meeting.
5. Provide for supply of the pulpit in his absence.
6. Work closely with the elders, deacons and FCC board members to lead FCC in GROWTH across all areas of ministry.
Monthly salary with large home provided and paid utilities. Position is bi-vocational.
