Part Time Pastor for Cornerstone Bible Church
Seeking Lead Pastor to provide a balanced ministry of preaching, pastoral care and organizational leadership to a congregation of about 20 members and to enable the church to grow spiritually and reach the community with the love of Christ.
Reports to: Cornerstone Elders. Cornerstone Elders are based on; 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, 1 Peter 5: 1-4.
Requirements:
Based on the biblical requirements from 1 Timothy 3. 1-7, we are looking for a male candidate who is committed to following Jesus, with skills in either leadership, pastoral, or seminary experience to help equip the church for growth and discipleship.
Faith Foundations:
A building cannot stand without a firm foundation and your relationship with the church and community will not be able to last or be fruitful without a strong foundation and relationship with God. As a church, we ask that you love God above all - be constantly seeking full devotion to him. To maintain core biblical family values. To love and connect with people, with a desire to reach out to all kinds of people, especially the down-and-out, broken, who tend to not have a place. Display Christian Love. Because the connection between pastor and people is a sacred trust, open, caring, healthy relationships are essential for the wellbeing of the local church. Cornerstone Bible Church is a church based in biblical teachings. We ask that you spend time studying, and being transformed and renewed by the word of God in order to teach and lead the church in spiritual transformation and also to avoid false teaching and conforming to worldly values.
Responsibilities:
The Part Time Pastor is to oversee all aspects of the Sunday Service, collaborating with the worship team and leading the Lord's supper or Communion.
The Part Time Pastor will help in leadership and ministry development by equipping the saints to serve in their gifts, and delegate aspects of leadership so that people are reached, and needs are met.
The Part Time Pastor is to help Cornerstone engage with the community to be ambassadors of God's love, being faithful representatives of the church in the wider community.
Salary:
Base salary begins with $300 weekly salary. As the church grows, salary will also grow.
Evaluation:
The Part Time pastor position will start on a 90 days probational period.

About Cornerstone Bible Church:
We are a small, non-denominational, Bible-believing group of Christians with a strong emphasis on outreach, missions, spiritual growth and discipleship. We are committed to and passionate about reaching our community and supporting missionaries both locally and internationally. We meet every Sunday from 10:00-11:30 at a rented space in the center of our town.
