SEEKING PASTOR—Sure, we know you’re not in ministry for the money but New Hope Baptist Church is starting off its new pastor with $70,000 plus benefits to oversee our multi-generational church. With a steady attendance of 65-75 in a growing, northern Rhode Island community we are well positioned for spiritual and numerical growth. Our music is a blend of hymns and contemporary music led by our worship leader. Our congregation is debt free and highly motivated to follow a man with a vision for youth and community outreach. Our prospective pastor will hold the biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and be in agreement with the church's Statement of Faith (newhoperi.org). About New Hope Baptist Church:
New Hope was founded in 1984 as an independent Baptist church. It is a family-oriented church located in a growing community of northern Rhode Island. We are a multi-generational church with a weekly worship attendance of 60-70. Our congregation is outgoing, compassionate, and expresses itself in generous love offerings and missions giving. Visitors are warmly welcomed by the congregation. Our church has monthly outreach fellowships, including men's breakfast and senior saints luncheon. Women's Bible studies and fellowship meals are regularly scheduled.
Job Qualifications:
A theological degree from a conservative evangelical college is preferred. The prospective pastor will have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ along with the biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and be in agreement with the church's Statement of Faith.
