Duties and responsibilities
Create and champion a fun, safe infant & preschool environment
Be the face of the infant and preschool environment for children and their parents/grandparents
Coach volunteers to grow and develop their strengths by providing direction, feedback, and opportunities
Communicate and cast vision for the big picture of Sunday morning to the teams
Be a leader of leaders through recruiting, modeling, teaching, evaluating, and coaching
Create and send weekly Thursday email to the team
Conduct weekly Sunday huddle
Recruit, manage, schedule, and nurture volunteers on a quarterly basis
Assist and train volunteers on finding their own substitutes, reaching out to those who do not show up for their role as scheduled
Oversee the childcare for adult small groups
Ensure the ministry functions within established safety protocols and procedures
Actively direct the Sunday experience
Manage the budget for the department
Oversee the organization and maintain the excellence of the spaces, including signage, props, equipment, and storage
Work with the Family Ministry Director on a weekly basis to synergize efforts, proposals, and calendars
Participate in team meetings and partner church calls, conferences, training resources, and visits
Lean into partner church contacts for areas that are not your zone of genius
Provide all publicly distributed materials through the church office for processing
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
