This is currently a part-time position. However, since we are a fast-growing church, there will be opportunity for growth.

A major objective for this position is to meet the needs of people where they are through personal activity. To accomplish this, you will need to demonstrate the following:
Oversee the care ministry database to track the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical needs of the church
Coordinate and/or personally deliver care for all who are engaged with Southridge Church
Provide individual and family support through counseling or visits in office, home, or hospital settings
Responsible for maintaining regular contact with our sick, hospitalized, unemployed, shut-ins or struggling members to provide support
Regularly pray for and with members of the church
Build a relationship with and communicate well with the Elders
Be organized and efficient especially with time management
Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation

Another major objective is to lead the coordination of teams to assist in various aspects of care ministry. To accomplish this, you will need to demonstrate the following:
Build and manage service teams connected to this aspect of ministry (prayer, meals, engagement, and other teams)
An excellent communicator both orally and written
A team player with strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude
Attend weekly staff meetings and be a supportive, contributing team member
Help with all-church events
Be present among the congregation for fellowship after the service as much as possible
