Job Description:
Pleasureville Chrisitan Church is seeking a Lead Pastor who is willing to lead us to achieve our Mission Statement of "Love, Share, Serve, Care...Just Like Jesus. The qualified candidate will have a desire to shepherd the congregation and lead the administrative board, encouraging all and providing direction as we step out in faith, keeping our eyes on Jesus Christ.
About Pleasureville Christian Church:
Pleasureville Christian Church has been a vital source of ministry to our community, focusing on sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through evangelism and being the hands and feet of Jesus by utilizing outreach opportunities. Currently we host AA twice a week, food pantry distribution monthly, yearly clothing give-away event, and support of local and foreign missions through our Faith Promise program, as well as many other outreach events.
Job Qualifications:
5+ years of proven ministry experience and church growth
Bible College or Seminary Training, degree preferred
Public speaking proficiency with an ability to connect faith to life in energetic, heart-felt weekly sermons.
Possess a God given passion for church renewal and community outreach
Has received and accepted a calling from God to this unique ministry and is committed to Jesus Christ and the authority of the Scripture
Has the skills and discernment to counsel and guide church members through life challenges using a biblical foundation
Has a heartfelt burden for the lost people and a desire to lead a church that is effectively reaching its community while modeling a lifestyle of evangelism though building relationships with people who are far from God.
The pastor should demonstrate high moral character, integrity, and adhere to scripture.
