JOB FUNCTION:
Oversee the discipleship pathway at LAVC. Create, manage, and oversee spiritual growth opportunities in strategically smaller environments. In addition, this role will administrate local outreach opportunities and men’s events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Discipleship Pathway
-Create & execute a clear, concise, and impactful discipleship pathway—a specific process that moves disciples from one stage of growth to the next
-Responsible for the oversight, development, and administration of the Vineyard Voyage process
Connect Groups
-Administrate Connect Groups, which include Small Groups, Life Groups, and Classes
-Train & equip the lay leaders to effectively facilitate
Outreach
-Plan and administrate local outreach events for our Detroit Lakes community
Men's Events
-Plan and administrate men’s events and gatherings for men to grow in their faith and friendship with one other
Preach and Teach
-Active member of the preaching team
Pastoral Care
-Provide care, prayer, and spiritual guidance to individuals and families during times of need such as crisis, grief, illness, and transition
-Officiate weddings and funerals
Perform all other duties as assigned or apparent
