As Pastor, you will serve as spiritual leader for the congregation and be responsible for preaching and teaching the gospel by preparing and delivering relevant, Spirit-filled sermons. In addition, you will plan and conduct the Sunday worship services in collaboration with the music ministry and praise dance ministries. As Pastor, you will also lead in administering the Holy ordinances of Baptism and Communion.
Outside of Sunday morning worship, you will be responsible for overseeing Bible study, classes and seminars. If requested, as Pastor, you will provide pastoral care and counselling to those preparing for marriage or experiencing illness, bereavement, incapacitation or other matters. Additional responsibilities include officiating at funerals, weddings, and baby dedications.
As an Administrator, you will collaborate with the Executive Council, Advisory Council, Ministerial Team and staff to administer the business of the church in accordance with the church constitution and by-laws. Finally, in collaboration with the leadership team, you will develop and implement strategies for healthy church growth in an urban community.
