The responsibilities of the pastor will include, but are not limited to the following:

Others may lead worship services with prior approval of the pastor and deacons. Anyone participating in other services in the church (funerals, weddings, etc) will be permitted to do so at the pastor's and deacons' discretion.
-To administer the ordinances of communion and baptism.
-To be faithful in pastoral visitation
As we search for the man God has chosen to lead Vorea Community Church as its pastor, we have established a Pulpit Supply Committee (PSC). We ask that interested candidates submit a cover letter and resume by mail or email. The PSC will review all applications and prayerfully select candidates for interviews. First interviews may be conducted by phone or video conference. Upon the recommendation of the PSC, candidates will be introduced to the congregation. Before the church membership votes on the selection of the new pastor, the candidate will be asked to lead a Sunday morning worship service.
