Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Praise and Worship Leader to join our church team.
Someone who Loves Jesus and has passion for Praise and Worship, sensitive to the moving and leading of the Holy Spirit.
* The Praise and Worship Leader will direct and manage our weekly worship services, including music selection, and provide spiritual guidance to our congregation.
* Choose congregational hymns and songs that engage the congregation and support the reading and preaching of God's Word.

Praise and Worship Leader Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plan and lead weekly worship services and special events
* Select appropriate music for each service
* Manage the worship team and coordinate rehearsals
* The Praise and Worship leader will work closely with our pastor in cultivating worship services that help lead our congregation to see and savor the greatness of God in Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
* This individual is expected to possess leadership and organizational and communication skills, and be a team player.

We are a Welcoming, up and coming small congregation seeking someone to lead our Praise and Worship in Lake Villa.
We also have a Spanish speaking church in Melrose Park that is quickly growing and doing well.

Job Qualifications:
* A passion for worship and spiritual growth
* Proficiency with musical instruments (i.e piano, electric keyboard, guitar etc)
* Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
* Ability to effectively lead and engage a congregation in heartfelt worship in an invitational style – that draws people in, encourages participation, and points people to Jesus.
