Job Description:

The First Christian Church in Weston Texas is in need of a part time Pastor to serve as Shepherd, Teacher and Administrator of a small Church with 70+ active members. We area an old established Church located in a rural north Texas_noemailmunity. We only meet once a week for Sunday Services. The job duties would include but are not limited to:

Lead Sunday Services and preach and teach the Word from the Bible.
Agree and promote the Church's mission, vision and values.
Lead the congregation in reaching out to the_noemailmunity.
Perform normal Pastoral duties such as baptisms, weddings, funerals and counseling.
Joint servant with the Church leadership, reporting directly to the Board of Elders and Deacons. 

About First Christian Church of Weston:

We are a small Church with 70 active members with a majority of the members 60 or older. We are located in north Texas in an area that is beginning to grow. We have a beautiful sanctuary that holds 100+ people. We have a song leader and pianist for our song service. Our children attend children's church during regular Sunday service. We recently remodeled and expanded our fellowship hall and kitchen with new furnishings.  

Qualifications:

Experienced pastor that has led services of worship in Christian Churches. Able to preach and teach principles from the Bible with clarity and understanding. Cares and has compassion for his flock with patience and love. Adheres to the code of ethics listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7. Steadfast belief in the Christian Faith.
