Job Description:
The pastor shall serve as the chief under-shepherd and overseer of this local church, feeding, leading and nurturing the sheep. This person's main responsibility will be to communicate God's Word, minister to spiritual needs, and provide biblical leadership for the church.
Duties will include, proclaiming the Word of God through the pulpit ministry, overseeing volunteer staff and giving leadership to the various ministries, provide leadership and vision for the church, be open and available for visitation of those in need, officiate weddings and funerals, lead in the observances of church ordinances, and engage and support the local community whenever possible.

First Baptist Church is a small church in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. It is nestled in a small quaint community that is continuing to grow. The church has a great reputation in the community and has been actively a part of the community for many years. The church itself is also growing and has a wonderful core group of people that love the Lord and their church. The church is made up of all ages and has just recently finished building a brand-new auditorium. The church is also in a good position financially as it is completely debt free. This church is ready and praying for someone to be led by God to continue the work that God is doing.
Job Qualifications:
1) Needs a clear salvation testimony and a confirmed call to the ministry.
2) Need to be licensed and/or ordained by a comparable denomination
3) Need a bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited school and/or a seminary degree
